Adult Enrichment

Adult Exploration:  Programs designed to educate adults – to increase religious knowledge, foster personal and spiritual growth and well-being, enhance the spirit of community, and provide for the exchange of diverse opinions.

Coffee and Conversation:  A small group of members meets at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays (before the service) to explore topics of interest to adults in a relaxed discussion setting.  All are welcome.

Women’s Spirituality Circle:  “Our mission is to create a safe and welcoming space for women to experience spirituality in community.”  This year, the Circle meets once a month, on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. at the church.  Meetings are open to visitors at any time.  Contact Audrey Preston (audreyloupreston@gmail.com).

LUUnch BUUnch:  This group meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 1:00 p.m. to sample local restaurants and enjoy each other’s company.  The location is announced in The Light and in the order of service.  Contact Hugh Ed Turner (huturn@juno.com, 850-478-2373).

Chalice Circles:  Chalice Circles are small groups that gather for thoughtful discussion based on readings on a chosen theme.  The Circle is facilitated by a member and meet once a month.  Circle membership opens up at the beginning of the program year, in the fall.  To inquire whether any Circles have a current opening, contact the UUCP office at UUCP@bellsouth.net or 850-475-9077.

Circle Dinners:  These small groups meet monthly to break bread together and enjoy informal social interaction.  Hosting responsibilities generally rotate among members of the Circle.  Circle membership opens up at the beginning of the program year, in the fall.  To inquire whether any Circles have a current opening, contact the UUCP office at UUCP@bellsouth.net or 850-475-9077.

Call for Adult Exploration Team Leadership!  The Adult Exploration Team needs a Leader.  The ideal candidate is willing to facilitate and coordinate the activities of the Team, including the option of reviving post-service REGroup adult education programs.  If you are interested and able to fill this role, please contact Rev.
