UUCP will have a booth at Pensacola Pride again this year!

There are several festivals where UUCP has long had a presence. We set up a table and share the ways in which our beliefs support the issues of the organization. One of these events is the Pride Fest which will be held on June 16th this year at Seville Square from 11am to 6pm. These festivals are a good way to make ourselves known in the community and to spend some time with fellow UUs and others.

We have a table, an easy pop-up sun shelter and some informative materials and give-aways to pass out to interested folks. What we need are some UUs who are able to join us in the glorious outdoors, talking to interesting folks, and generally having fun for 2 hours on Saturday the 16th. We will need 2 groups of 2 or more in the afternoon. Hats, sunscreen, folding chairs and bottled water are a good idea. We will have a cooler with ice, so we can keep your beverages cold.

If you can’t attend the festival but would like to help, you may donate to the fund to help with expenses such as UU pamphlets, pins or stickers. If you would like to contribute to this project please see Paula or Erin on Sunday June 10.
