India to America: A Tough but Blessed Journey

With the exception of Native Americans, we in this country are all from somewhere else, or we are the children of people from somewhere else. Lal Goel will describe briefly his journey to the United States as a young man of 20, the struggles he faced, and the success he achieved. He will also comment briefly on the present immigration debate raging in the country.

Dr. M. Lal Goel is an Emeritus Professor of Political Science at UWF. Dr. Goel served as the Director of International Studies in the Department of Government. He retired several years ago, but has stayed active at the University.  He continues to lecture at public forums on topics of national and international importance.
