We often call August the dogdays of summer and given where we live – we tend to hibernate inside. It’s during this time that we are given the opportunity to take this time and view it as late summer fullness and a threshold before change.
Our speaker, the Rev. Theresa Everett, currently serves as St. Augustine Episcopal Church in the capacity of licensed Lay Preacher, Worship Leader, Eucharist Minister and Pastoral Care Leader in Navarre. Her duties also extend to the Navarre community for those who are homebound, in long-term facilities or in the hospital as a result of physical, or emotional limitations or illness.
