Fifth Sunday “Share the Plate” offering benefits Favor House, the domestic violence center, which has provided safe shelter to thousands of domestic violence victims and their children. Thousands more have received assistance through the Favor House crisis lines, the outreach counseling centers and advocacy services. Victims, their families and those who are assisting them may call for help at any time. Favor House also provides support groups, victim advocacy, counseling, information and referral, the Batterer’s Intervention Program and the Kid’s Center, a facility devoted to children from violent homes, and actively works toward every intimate relationship being violence free.
