On August 18, 2018 the Board met for their yearly retreat. Since Reverend Alice Syltie was unable to attend, she will be included in a follow-up session. There are two positions vacant at this time.

Since the Board is designed to provide Leadership with a focus on Policy, the retreat allowed time for strengthening relationships and adhering to current policies and procedures.

The Primary Goal this year is to maintain physical and emotional stability in our congregation during this transition time with a part-time minister. As we engage with Reverend Syltie we look forward to exploring and implementing our Goals as a congregation.

Our Congregation has always been a “Leadership” team reaching into the larger community. Leadership is about forward thinking, which often requires challenging the status quo. That is who we are.

So if you don’t consider yourself to have LEADERSHIP qualities…think again. Consider offering your skills and expertise to the Church. There are simple and in-depth ways of contributing. Just let one of the Board members know your interest. See you at church!
