In 1 Corinthians 13:13 Paul says, “So faith, hope, and love abide; but the greatest of these is love.” Now, certainly I think we can acknowledge the value of all of these three attributes, especially love. However, without hope, it matters not if a person has love. We begin with hope because that is how we survive and even flourish in a world that often makes little sense to us. I will talk about this partly because it seems that we have been living in stressful times as of late and I believe that now we need to find our way to a more hopeful life.
