Puja - The Hindu Worship Ceremony - Unitarian Universalist Church of Pensacola

Dr. Goel will perform the Hindu worship ceremony known as Puja. The ceremony consists of the offering of flowers, incense and light to a chosen deity, either male or female. Chanting of a prayer and of sacred mantras accompanies the service. A food item that has been offered to the Divine and is thus sanctified (prasad) is then distributed to the congregation. This is a Service for All Ages.
