Many children in our community are without coats and other cold-weather-wear appropriate for cooler temperatures this time of year. We can help local children keep warm by giving new coats that will be distributed by Christmas. Pastor Teris Broughton-Robinson and Allen Chapel AME Church are organizing a Coats for Kids drive. UUCP has committed to donate at least 10 coats with the generous support of our Members and Friends.

You may donate a new coat or money that will be pooled and used to purchase coats. To arrange drop off or pick up of a contribution, contact UUCP Members Denise Gunn or President Lauren Anzaldo by noon on Friday, Dec 18. All of the coats donated by UUCP will be delivered on Dec 18 or 19.
