We are coming to the close of what has been another very challenging year, making that two in a row. We are all aware of how the Ministry Teams rose to the occasion and found ways to help us maintain our ties, and we are all very appreciative of that. But December being the reflective month that it is, I find myself thinking about losses, personal and collective. Let us be mindful that the holiday season can magnify the unspeakable sorrow of many.

We have much for which to be thankful. We are back together physically, and life is becoming more nor-mal. There’s lots of chatter about “next year,” so hold on! Look forward to Second Hour presentations and the Mid-Year Congregational Meeting—in person—in January.

May this holiday season bring JOY and PEACE to you and your loved ones.
