Recently, 82 JUST Pensacola members showed up at the Pensacola City Council meeting to give a 15-minute presentation at the council’s Agenda Conference meeting. UUCP’s Penny Featherstone was among them. The presentation was the first time the City Council was able to discuss our presentation publicly. As you all know, our city is in the midst of an affordable rental housing crisis. JUST Pensqcola is urging our City Council members to take action. Like air to breathe and food to eat, safe shelter is a basic human need, and our community members are struggling to find it.
