Dr. Jacobi will present a world view on homelessness.
Our Fifth Sunday honoree on July 31 will be Family Promise, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to assisting families who find themselves unhoused. In Pensacola, they offer shelter from volunteers and supportive services, as they do not have a local shelter yet.
Nationally, Family Promise has good results, with 81% of families finding housing within 9 weeks of entering the program.
Our Fifth Sunday Collection As this is the 5th Sunday in July, the collection will go to the non-profit organization Family Promise Escambia County (FPEC) in support of their good work to address Escambia County’s housing needs. Susan Clark, who serves on the board of FPEC will explain the history of the organization in our local area.
