A People of Belonging

The theme for October is Belonging. The question to ponder is What does it mean to be a people of Belonging?  On Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Belonging comes third, after basic physiological needs, and needs for safety.
Often when a person finds Unitarian Universalism, the feeling expressed is, I have found my spiritual home, or this is where I belong. As more and more people come to this discovery, things begin to change. The question then may become, how do we continue to offer a place of belonging, when the place we know is changing.

Our newest UUCP members will be recognized as part of the Sunday Service on October 20.  Yes, Mardi Gras Beads will be involved.
