In a country that often boasts that we’re the strongest, smartest, mightiest, most good-looking, and generally the best in the world, we do a very poor job of creating an environment for people to foster these traits. Rather, we focus our efforts on providing the minimum requirements to create more average ordinary citizens to plug into our system; those who will go along with our pre-established rules and not attempt to ruffle too many feathers. This can and has worked for some time, but it’s not a viable long-term solution for a lasting, thriving society. We must make changes if we are to turn this ship around, and Brett Ramsey, making his debut as a UUCP presenter, plans to offer some suggestions.
