In keeping with our theme this month, Embracing Possibility, our service will center around a sermon from the Rev. Beth Dana of the First Unitarian Church of Dallas. With the constant changes we face these days, we do best if we can get comfortable with — embrace — the unexpected. Rev. Dana talks about this in the context of improvisational theater. Her description reads, “Improv theater is fun – it evokes laughter and creativity. But it also takes courage – to be part of it, and even to watch it – because it challenges us to embrace the unexpected. What can we as individuals and as a church learn from improv and theater groups like Improv Everywhere?”
