Virtual Service: Outrage and Hope

Outrage and Hope, a Sunday Service with Rev. Alice Syltie and music from Denise D’Angelo and other artists

Over the last two weeks we have seen our country erupt in a massive response to the killing of George Floyd. An article in The New York Times claimed, “Never before in the history of modern polling have Americans expressed such widespread agreement that racial discrimination plays a role in policing — and in society at large.” This Sunday, Rev. Alice shares words from the Rev. Dr. William Barber reflecting outrage — as well as hope that widespread protests lead to a gainful groundswell of resistance to the policies and behavior that continue to support systemic racism in our country.
