Music unites, inflames, evokes and inspires, and music has been an important part of contemporary social movements.  Although it is not possible to summarize the LGBTQ movement toward recognition and dignity into a single portrayal, Carla and Pat will present – through words and songs – music and a bit of context that represents a timeline of sorts in the mostly forward movement toward inclusion and equality of what is currently referenced as the LGBTQ community. This particular program is presented in recognition of June as “Pride Month.”
