July 17, 2021 marked the 200th anniversary of the day the Spanish flag was lowered for the last time in Pensacola and Florida became an American territory. UUCP Members Joe Vinson and Erin Renfroe will talk about the significance of that day, the 1821 Sampler Project – a unique product that was part of the city and county commemoration, and the people of West Florida 200 years ago.
