Women have been involved in U.S. politics for over 100 years, and yet we represent less than 25% of elected positions country-wide. Ms. Van Hoose will highlight the impact women have made and are still making in our country and discuss the role of women in politics as the country evolves. Myra Van Hoose, President of The Institute for Women in Politics of Northwest FL, is actively working for more equitable representation and a less tribal political climate.
