Following her Sunday Service on “Wisdom in Dark Times,” UUCP Friend Julie Patton will lead the first in a six-session Wisdom Practice Circle taking place during Second Hour (1130am-1230pm). This circle is designed for people interested in experience with specific wisdom methods informed by ancient truths and practices that have always sustained the human race. The first Wisdom Circle in the series is based on the line from a Rumi poem, “Let the Beauty We Love Be What We Do.”

This is part of a six-session practice circle series facilitated by Julie Patton during Second Hour on Sundays at UUCP. The full list of dates is as follows: Sept 27, Oct 11, Nov 8, Dec 13, Jan 31, and Feb 28.

Julie Patton is an ancient social worker with 80 years of experience in philosophy, spirituality, contemporary behavioral health, and the Hospice Movement. Her specific interest is in aging and end-of-life issues, with a focus on the growth and change that may come as we get older. She incorporates both Eastern and Western truths, along with evidence-based practices that facilitate wise and peaceful living for people of any age.
