Welcome

to the UUCP 2024-2025 Budget Drive

Everything you need to make informed decisions about how to

financially strengthen and support your church in the coming fiscal year.

These last 18 months have seen us make the transition to a 100% lay-led congregation.  It could not have been possible without the commitment, dedication and hard work of our lay leadership.  We owe a huge thanks to our leaders as well as everyone who has stepped forward and asked “how can I help”, and then did!  Whether serving as a Sunday Service leader or speaker, moving chairs and folding tables, laundering tablecloths, greeting all who walk through our doors, or creating culinary delights, We did it!

With our vision in all we do– To celebrate diversity, strive for justice, and inspire love.

This coming year we want to:

NOW

  • Maintain quality Sunday Services – with engaging speakers and relevant topics. And of course…
  • Support great Sunday music – professional musician, as well as our in-house musical and choir talent.
  • Support our Children’s Religious Education (CRE) program with the resources needed as it continues to grow!
  • Strengthen our building and grounds which we worked so hard to purchase and turn into our spiritual home over 25 years ago.
  • Affirm our UU Principles by engagement in the larger community through Social Justice activities, and
  • Foster our beloved community with a strong Pastoral Care program for our congregants and expand adult exploration and fellowship activities.

AND THEN

  • Continue to rebuild and renew our financial resources for the coming years.

Please consider all these goals when making your financial commitment to UUCP for the coming fiscal year. Be sure to visit our Fair Share Giving guidelines to reassess whether your pledge is at its optimal level.

When you have reviewed the information in the links below and are ready to make your financial commitment to your church community, click on “I’m Ready to Pledge.” You will be taken to an online form where you will enter the amount of your pledge and affirm your membership status.

Please respond by February 18, 2024.

As always, if you have any questions about the budget, the church finances, or the process of entering your pledge, please contact  Finance Team Chair Laurie Winterberg or Treasurer Bradley Vinson.

*As a Unitarian Universalist Church, we are a fully independent congregation. We receive no monies from our national organization; we are funded solely through pledges, donations, and fundraising at the congregational level.
